Philips Research & Design
Healthcare research platform locked on dead framework. Full rewrite too risky.

The Problem
Philips' clinical research platform ran on AngularJS — end-of-life, unsupported, and blocking new feature development. A full rewrite would risk months of downtime in a healthcare environment where uptime is non-negotiable.
What I Did
Designed and executed a hybrid bridge migration from AngularJS to Angular 9. Both frameworks coexisted during transition. Built comprehensive testing gates and automated CI/CD pipelines. Created D3-based data visualization tools for oncology patient flow analysis.
Results
75% of legacy codebase preserved — no throwaway rewrite
Zero-downtime migration in production healthcare environment
Automated QA cycles with CI/CD pipeline
New clinical data visualization capabilities shipped
