TodaysArt08: the Hague, Netherlands
Past friday and saturday TodaysArt08 was held in the Hague. What a ride.. Too bad I only went there on saturday. Passe-par tout tickets where cheap event though there were many exciting exhibitions you could hear, feel, see and taste.
We started of with a couple of drinks on Spuiplein, still enjoying the nice warm glow of the sun. After a few minutes ‘enjoying’ the cold shadow we decided to go and have a walk around the place.
My three favs:
- Seabear and Borko, two bands from Iceland took stage in the Dr. A. Philipzaal and delivered a really tight performance!
- Singing Tesla coils, just watch the video, 8bit music rocks!
- Projections on the city hall
The afterparty of TodaysArt was at het Paard van Troje (translated: the Trojan Horse). We didn’t stay that long, we were tired and we would still have a long and boring trip home (Utrecht). We took the train at the Hague at 02:30 and were home at about 04:00. The Album Leaf and Múm penetrated my ears as I fell asleep..
